Thank you everyone who supported me and came out to vote
on November 3, 2009!
Although I was unable to
secure one of the 3 seats available this election, it
was a very close race and all of the candidates worked
hard to earn the support and votes of the people in
Mogadore.
I look forward to seeing the newly
elected council members work together and provide good
solutions for Mogadore. I also will continue to be
involved in our community and will do my part to serve
where a hand is needed.
One victory that was
important to me was the NO vote on Issue 41/21 that
dealt with a proposed amendment to the Mogadore Charter.
The ballot description was missing an important part of
the resolution that was passed by council. Now
that the issue was turned down, it can be accurately
presented to the voters in the next election.
Voters will then have an accurate description of the
issue to cast their vote upon.
The best part of
this whole campaign was getting around and meeting the
good folks of Mogadore. I visited nearly every
home in Mogadore, had many great conversations and spent
a lot of time getting to hear what people had to say
about our great town of Mogadore, OH. One thing is
for sure...people in Mogadore LOVE our town...and it
shows!
Okay, it is time to start planning for the
next election in 2 years!
